Add the tag code of a GA4 Google Analytics 4 property
The new system for obtaining statistics in Google Analytics is called "Google Analytics 4", with a GA4 property that must be created in the administration part of your session (wheel with slot at the bottom left). This will replace the old system which was called "Universal Analytics".
To get the new code, you must then click on this new property, then follow the steps below:
- in the property column, click on "Data streams",
- then: "Web",
- we click on the website in question,
- then under Google tag, we select: "View tag instructions",
- on the installation instructions page, choose "Install manually",
- and there we can finally copy the Javascript extract which begins with:
and which ends with:
To paste it between the "head" tags of the website in question.
