Apple reaches USD 1 trillion in stock market valuation
Apple has reached a stock market valuation of over USD 1,000 billion, or USD 1 trillion. This is the first company to exceed this level. Apple remains very dependent on the success of its iPhone, which is why the Apple brand multiplies different projects to vary its portfolio. The smartphone represents nearly 70% of its income, a share that continues to grow in recent years.
Other GAFAs are not far from the trillion. We have Amazon with 884 billion dollars, Google with 854 billion dollars, Microsoft with 824 billion dollars, and a little further Facebook with 513 billion dollars. This last one has largely been cut following the measures taken to fight data leaks after the sandal of Cambridge Analytica.
