Cannot remove the primary group of user

The following message is obtain when we try to remove a user group in order to create a new one with different permissions and be able to access specific folders, to modidy them or create files with correct chown properties.

groupdel: cannot remove the primary group of user

While you try to delete a user with this command :

# sudo groupdel UserGroup

Then try this :

# sudo usermod -g UserName UserGroup

# sudo groupdel UserGroup

Of course, you should know to what group is attached the user.
