How to check that Sendmail works



How to see what is the status of the Sendmail application and if this Linux application is working properly? Sendmail allows you to send emails through your server.

Here is a line to enter your SSH interface:

ps waux | grep sendmail

Here is an example of a result that you can get:

root     15516  0.0  0.0  12684  1692 pts/0    S+   08:47   0:00 grep sendmail
