China wants a Chinese Wikipedia
China plans to recruit 20,000 writers to create its own Wikipedia. As the Chinese version of Wikipedia is partially censored by the government, not all articles are available. This will allow China to invest less time in checking the content of a site that has more than 100 million pages referenced.
These editors will be selected professors and academics. The site will mainly discuss science and technology.
