Fabien Roussel's program for the 2022 presidential election
The proposals of the political candidate Fabien Roussel for the presidential election of 2022, with subjects such as transport, economy, politics, security, education, work, retirement.
EDF and Engie must be nationalized to lower the gas and electricity bill.
We must give recognition to the nursing staff.
We must nationalize the highways to gain purchasing power and recover money in the state coffers.
The way in which the health pass is implemented suddenly, quickly, extended to activities of daily life with the threat of loss of employment does not create the climate of confidence and adhesion to a vaccine that we need. A health pass that makes it possible to organize festivals and events certainly makes it possible to hold these events in secure conditions.
We must denounce the attacks against pharmacists and vaccination centers, they are inadmissible. The vaccine is progress for humanity, it must become a public good. We will not all be protected against this virus if we are not all vaccinated in France and in the world, the battle is far from won. We must call for the general vaccination of all French people. With the primary health insurance fund, doctors, local elected officials, we have to go see people, convince them and vaccinate them. The state must set itself the obligation to vaccinate everyone.
It should not be made an individual battle placing the responsibility on each one while the responsibility must be national. All countries and all peoples must have access to the vaccine, it must be made a public good, whereas today it is an economic opportunity for big pharma, 40 billion euros just for Pfizer and Moderna. There will always be variants that will arrive in France if all people are not vaccinated at the same time. Our challenge is to get health out of the clutches of finance.
We need a republic school that teaches everywhere, wherever we are. The teachers want us to respect them more, with recognition, to have classes of 20 to 25 students, that the students have more teaching time, and therefore that there are more teachers. There must be equality between the different schools.
The great fortunes during the last five years have almost doubled, they have gone from 500 billion euros of heritage to 1000 billion, and during this time the salaries of our fellow citizens, retirement pensions are frozen and have not increased. Gasoline prices and the price of fruits and vegetables increased an average of 20% this summer. Gas prices have taken 15% in a year, people can't get by. The cashiers in Carrefour stores have no seniority, after 12 years of work they earn 1,280 euros per month, and the price of pasta is increasing. We must regain power over these riches.
We have to rebuild the industry. We must stop all relocations, each industrial job must be placed under the protection of the republic.
All young people need a student income of between 800 and 850 euros per month without conditions, it would cost between 20 and 23 billion euros per year. It would be financed equally by the state and partly by social contributions from companies. Youth must be made a priority and a great national cause in the new mandate. Let us give the maximum of means to our children, to our youth to give them the best formation in the world. They should not have to go to work in order to be able to study during their studies in higher education. This income will be an autonomy allowance. Each of them must be guaranteed access to employment. While currently every year, 200,000 to 300,000 young people find themselves unemployed.
We need a rise in wages and in particular the lowest wages. Why always ask employees, class E officials to lose purchasing power, to work more when the great fortunes who see their capital, their income increase by 30%. The average salary of CAC40 bosses is 5.8 million euros per year. The minimum wage is 23,000 euros per year. The pay differentials go from 1 to 300 and it is always the same that we require efforts. Why not attack the special capital regime, let's make sure that there is no wage gap ranging from 1 to 20, let's make sure that these great fortunes pay their fair contribution to taxes, let's attack to tax evasion.
France's recovery plan involves raising wages and increasing the minimum wage to 1,800 euros gross.
We must fight tax evasion, 25% of the profits of European banks are made in tax havens. We need minimum sentences for white collar offenders. Stashing your money in tax havens through tax optimization must be illegal. They deserve penalties, jail.
France is 280,000 jobs lost during the crisis, 1,000 so-called social plans. There are still 6 million people without full or partial activity, jobless. How can you live when you have a part-time activity, at 80%, with 800 or 900 euros net per month, is that worthy? what retirement will these people have?
We need an increase in retirement pensions. We do not want a liberal vision of society, we need a happy reform. With a minimum of 1000 euros for all pensions.
We have to ask ourselves whether we should not ban the expression in the media of people who make anti-Republican comments and who come into conflict with the law because of these comments. Like many people on the far right.
It takes a desire to unite, to have open arms because there is so much to do. France, beautiful, rebellious, happy, united and dignified, we believe in it and we must make it win. There are projects of companies which wish to privatize everything, defend the capital and others which, on the contrary, prefer to give back power to employees, to the world of work, to make France reappropriate production goods and public services. We must offer a pact to the French, for employment, purchasing power, the environment, youth, those who carried this country at arm's length for two years during the pandemic, those who demand public services, those who want their work force to enable them to live with dignity.
We need to guarantee the right to a job and lifelong training. It is necessary to put an end to corruption, to tax evasion, to what undermines the country and the budget of the republic. The left wants to give power to employees in companies so that they can decide on the way in which we produce wealth, how we redistribute it behind, in the service of what objective. Employees want the wealth they produce to serve the country, the nation, wages, hiring, the country's reindustrialisation, economic sovereignty, they want to regain control over the production of this wealth, no longer to suffer but to be able to decide.
We should not be tense on the question of identities. But we have to regulate immigration.
On the left, we have a speech to make on questions of public tranquility, social peace, security because it is a concern that affects our fellow citizens, the working classes, especially those who live in the neighborhoods, but also those who are in villages that are afraid of burglaries.
We must put in the means to strengthen our internal security forces, gendarmeries, police. We need the return of a community police force with 30,000 statutory men and women, not the private police, not the municipal police. The police officers live with the families and the kids at the foot of the towers, so they can act in the vicinity. Under the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy, 13,000 police posts were abolished, as well as the intelligence services. Today we are obliged to rebuild a national police force, we need a better trained, statutory police force. The question of tranquility, of public security is a national question, we cannot delegate that either to municipalities or to private companies.
We must once again bring in the republic, with schools, better housing, education, the installation of sports and cultural facilities, help for associations, resources for the municipalities, transport to make people live together. these families. An educator has an average of 100 children to follow, so it is impossible to do it correctly.
