Fail2Ban doesn’t work

Fail2Ban can be a very useful module for a server if you want to protect it from external attacks such as DDOS or hackers that want to steal your data or just control your machine in order to enter into other servers.

If Fail2Ban doesn’t ban the ip addresses, you should restart this rsyslog :

# service rsyslog restart
