Already two companies have tested their prototype of flying taxi in Dubai. First Ehang, then the German company Volocopter.
The prince Bin Mohammed was able to fly more than 200 meters above sea level for five minutes.
They are two-seater engines with 18 propellers, an electric motor that can work for nearly 30 minutes. A mobile application may make it possible to call a flying taxi. It then lands at a nearby “voloport”.
The drone is connected to a GPS tracking system which will give it the ability to find the desired location while avoiding obstacles and other flying devices.
Dubai wants to become a beacon in terms of a city at the forefront of technology, also by replacing a good part of its policemen with robots.
