Gstatic.com is a Google service for API calculations but also to grab data from your charts pages.

This service is used by most of the Google javascript plugins, such as Google Maps.

And it can be saturated with the number of visitors, by moment.

As an alternative you can select another free interactive charts code or use an offline version of Google Chart.
