Comparison of the size of the alien engineer in the movie Promotheus with a human.
Engineers are part of an ancient humanoid alien race of unknown origin. In the alien movie, the size of the engineer in his astronaut suit is much larger, since he is 4.50 meters. In Promotheus, they are smaller but still tall in comparison to humans. We therefore imagine that there are several types of engineers.

It is assumed that they are at the origin of the creation of the human race. They clearly possessed a wide variety of bacteriological weapons which turned on them at some point. It is difficult to say what these weapons were used for. In Promotheus, it seems that the resuscitated engineer gleefully despises humans and wants to resume his mission to send the weapons safely (to Earth?).
