How to delete a user in Linux

It can be useful sometimes to delete a user in order to create a new one with different permissions and allow it to manage the server or access some folder, edit certain files.

To delete a user, enter the following command :

userdel userName

sudo deluser username sudo

To delete a group :

groupdel userGroup
