Orion is a constellation that is mentioned in Homer's Odyssey (8th century BC). It is composed of famous stars among the biggest, such as Rigel, Betelgeuse. Several known nebulae can be found, such as the Horsehead Nebula, Orion Nebula, Monkey Head Nebula, Rosetta Nebula.
It represents the legendary hunter Orion who boasts of being able to kill any type of animal. He was killed by the Scorpion, the latter is on the opposite side of the celestial vault.
