Issue with Google Analytics which no longer captures visitors
This is very rare, but it may sometimes happen that Google Analytics stops wholly or partially storing the statistics of your site. Namely, the number of sessions, unique visitors, page views and all the information that goes with it, such as the country of origin, the content visited, the visit time, etc.
If this happens and you haven't touched the tracking code recently, then the most likely reason is a network outage in the Google datacenter that is responsible for the Google Analytics service. Or a power cut, a computer failure, a bug in the version of the software that manages data storage, or even maintenance due to a system update.
Normally, Google should be able to restore data from statistics that are not displayed anyway, a few days after the incident.
