Jean-Marc Governatori on ecology, the carbon tax, his project
Jean-Marc Governatori's measures concerning ecology, the carbon tax. But also the main points of his political project presented during the primary of the ecologists in September 2021 for the French presidential election of 2022.
Ecology:
We must move towards more organic agriculture (than 10% currently), with transformation of public transport, carpooling, 3rd generation biofuel. We must put the option of vegetarian dishes in all restaurants (public and private), give aid to companies that are conditional on respect for the environment. We need to change the way we consume and move towards less consumption, more repairs, insulation of buildings, the transformation of vacant offices into apartments.
We must respect the proposals found in the citizens' convention on the climate.
Carbon tax :
France is the world champion in compulsory levies, so we do not touch the carbon tax. We create a carbon-free world by increasing the peasant world, by making the circular economy the queen economy in France, with thermal insulation and renewable energies. Thus we do not touch the taxation which is dependent on the decisions of Europe.
Project :
The four engines of the society project for our country that we are promoting are autonomy with the autonomy of the regions, food autonomy, energy autonomy, and the autonomy of people. The second element is cooperation, cooperation of people, with local exchanges, collective vegetable gardens, schoolchildren, complementary local currencies, collective composters. We can build collective cooperation instead of individualism.
The third element is respect, respect for minorities, respect for oppositions, respect for differences, respect for commitments, respect for plants, respect for animals. The fourth and final element is responsibility. Each of us is jointly responsible for what is happening, it is we who build our future, our present, we are jointly responsible for the situation, so we can do better together. We need human activity compatible with the biosphere, the objectives of which are full employment and total health.
Carrying out political action means teaching and creating the conditions for a perfect quality of life for all the members of the team. The notion of individual responsibility is important, but it is the conscience that will save us, the individual conscience and the collective conscience. Our values are secularism, responsibility, respect, freedom, equality and fraternity.
