Lost connection between soundbar and Samsung subwoofer
When you turn on the TV, only the sound bar turns on, the subwoofer emits no sound or very little audible sound. When you use another device that sends sound to your audio system via Bluetooth, the subwoofer works.
It could be a faulty Bluetooth system, but usually it comes from a loss of connection between the soundbar and the Samsung subwoofer. You have to force the soundbar to find the subwoofer.
Temporary solution that must be repeated each time:
- when the audio system and the TV are on: turn off the sound bar, turn on the TV sound, turn on the sound bar: the subwoofer should then turn on.
Solution that may be permanent:
- turn off the soundbar, press the play/pause button on the soundbar's remote control for 5-10 seconds (button in the middle of the circle with the soundbar off): the audio system does an upgrade which can reconnect the subwoofer.
Other possibilities:
- check that the helm's Bluetooth is activated.
- put an optical cable between the sound bar and the box if possible depending on the product model.
- reset the soundbar.
