Main natural gas producing countries
Here is the list of the main countries that produce natural gas. This is the production of dry natural gas produced by each country during the year of 2021, according to the International Energy Agency. Dry natural gas is the portion of natural gas remaining after liquid hydrocarbon residues have been removed.
What we notice is that the United States and Russia are far ahead. The USA generates the most natural gas through its shale gas production. Next come Iran, China, Australia, Canada and Qatar.
