Poverty figures in France





Here is a graph which makes it possible to visualize the rate of poverty in France. In France, there are 8.8 million poor people. The poverty line is 1026 euros per month. The poorest country is Romania with 25% of the poor. We find in particular Spain with 22%, Greece 21%, Italy 20%, Portugal 20%, the United Kingdom 17%, Germany 17%. France is one of the countries with the fewest people in need. The country with the fewest poor people is the Czech Republic with 10% of the poor, followed by Finland, Denmark and the Netherlands.
