Here is the proportion of animals in the world. We have eliminated marine fish, starfish, crustaceans, crabs, etc. because their number is immeasurable. These figures come from the estimates of the IUCN site which operates in the protection of the living. Rodents are 385 billion, reptiles 103 billion, freshwater fish 33 billion, birds 31 billion, humans 7.5 billion, ruminants 3.3 billion, amphibians 1.7 billion, canids 1, 4 billion, omnivores (pigs) 1.1 billion.
Nowadays, rodents, birds and ruminants have shrunk enormously because of pesticides and the agricultural area that has devastated the little forest that was left. Just see on Google Maps, there are no more large forests, except in Siberia and Brazil. 80% of agricultural production is used for cattle, pigs and chickens. We can understand that the Americans are currently experiencing a vegan wave.
