How to remove specific iptables rules

You have maybe some rules within your iptables conditions that are obsolete or that you want to redefine. Consequently you need to delete them and create new ones.

First, you will need to list the rules. The number of the rules will be displayed :

iptables -vnL --line-numbers

To delete the rule number 22 (for example) :

iptables -D INPUT 22
