We have a table with numbers which are expressed in thousands of units, which makes the table difficult to read. We therefore want to reduce the data in the cells by replacing the thousands with the letter K, the millions with the letter M and thus make it easier to read the next time you open the Excel file.
For the thousands, we will use the following formula after having right clicked on the cell, and having chosen "custom":

3.7k
#.0,k
For the millions:
1.2m
#.0,,"m"
