Turn your smartphone into a microscope
Nowadays it is possible to transform your smartphone into a microscope. You can attach the optics of an old camcorder to your mobile so that the smartphone itself becomes a microscope. This will require destroying the camcorder and wedging the optics in a cardboard part that will be attached to the smartphone with a rubber band.
This solution is not ideal but it allows for a low cost method.
