The Windows 10 operating system displays apps with block accumulation, as well as a Bing search bar, instead of the traditional Windows desktop. This provides navigation that is not obvious, especially if you have previously personalized the desktop with your own arrangement of shortcuts leading to your favorite software. Why has the display changed? The likely reason is that you did something wrong, like typing keyboard shortcuts several times in a row. Or Windows popped up a message asking you to facilitate access to applications and you accepted too quickly.
How to redisplay the desktop instead of applications?
Go to Settings > System > Tablet > select: "never use tablet mode" or "use the mode appropriate for my hardware".
This will return the desktop with your shortcuts as you previously placed them.
This display with applications is therefore suitable for using Windows on a tablet or on a laptop or desktop computer with a 2 in 1 mode, which involves a touch screen.
